David Freeman is an active Texas License to Carry Instructor with an online course that meets the state’s requirements for classroom instruction. David has written numerous stories for GUNS Magazine, American Handgunner and Shooting Industry and is currently one of the regular contributors to The Shooter’s Log. What he doesn’t write for the magazines or CTD blog, he writes here.
Starting at the end of July 2021 I have begun writing stories about guns that have affected my life over the years. To the best of my ability I’m writing about them in chronological order of when I first obtained the gun. I’m also revising this site to get rid of some old content that is no longer valid and to rename some of the posts to more easily identify what they’re about. This blog is not just about guns, it’s about shooters and the tools they use.
